The deets before the treats

To give your cake the love it deserves, we prefer a minimum of 2 weeks' notice for custom orders. For large or intricate designs (multi-tier, sculpted, etc.), 3–4 weeks is best.
Rush orders (less than 7 days’ notice) may be possible, based on availability, and may incur a rush fee.
Price quotes are valid for up to 2 weeks (or until 7 days prior to your event, whichever is sooner); after this, prices and availability are subject to change.

Order Minimums

Cupcakes: Sold by the dozen or half-dozen, with a 1-dozen minimum order.
Custom Cakes: Minimum order of 6" cake is required to book. Pricing is based on standard 5" high cakes. Want something taller or more petite? We can play with proportions (taller tiers, double barrel, etc.) to bring your vision to life!

Deposits & Payments

For all orders, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
Deposits are due no later than 7 days prior to delivery date to secure your booking, unless otherwise stated in your quote.
For rush orders (placed within 7 days of their due date), payment in full is required to book.
Final payment is due no later than 5 business days prior to delivery/pickup, unless otherwise specified in your quote.
Orders not paid in full by the due date may be cancelled.

Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable to another client but may be transferred to a future date (subject to availability and within 3 months), when notice is given at least 7 days prior to your event.
Cancellations within 7 days of your event will result in loss of deposit.
Cancellation within 5 days of your event will result in full payment due.
No refunds for no-shows, late pickups or cancellations within 5 days of event.
Receipt of your cake order (by pick-up or delivery) constitutes acceptance of the product appearance and quality. Refunds are not generally issued after the cake is released, but may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Changes to Orders

Details (flavor, size, design) must be finalized at least 7 days prior to your event.
Design changes may be requested up to 7 days before your event.
Changes requested within 7 days of your event are subject to availability and may affect pricing.
Major changes may affect pricing and availability.

Delivery & Pickup

Pickup is from our home kitchen in American Fork, UT—address provided upon order confirmation.
Pickup times are scheduled in advance. Please arrive on time! Failure to arrive at the scheduled pickup time may result in forfeiture of your order.
Pickup is required for orders under $60.
For orders over $60, delivery is available within 60 miles for an additional fee. Delivery times are set based on route planning and availability.

Transportation & Storage

Cakes are delicate! We recommend transporting on a flat surface in an air-conditioned vehicle (no laps or seats).
We provide care instructions at pickup. We are not responsible for damages once the cake leaves our hands.
Refrigeration required? We’ll let you know based on your order.

Allergies & Ingredients

We bake with love and high-quality ingredients—but please note, our kitchen is not allergen-free.
Common allergens used: gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, soy.
Let us know about any allergies—we’ll do our best to accommodate, but cross-contamination is possible.
It is your responsibility to inform your guests of potential allergens.

Design & Creative License

Custom cakes are one-of-a-kind! While we strive to match your inspiration, we do not copy exact designs -- creative variations may occur in color, decoration, or details due to the handmade nature of the product.
We reserve the right to make small design changes where needed for stability, aesthetics, or availability of materials.
Your cake will always be delicious and beautiful, made with care and artistry.

Photo Sharing

We love to share photos of my creations on social media and my website! If you'd prefer I don’t post your cake, just let us know in advance.
We offer a Sweet Share Discount on all wedding cakes -- we'll give you 10% off your total order (up to $40) in exchange for professional photos of the cake, cake cutting, etc. taken by your wedding photographer. Some terms apply.
